In 2016, I quit my 9-to-5 and went on a 6-week backpacking trip through Europe and the U.K. with whatever fit into my 40L backpack. I ate my weight in gelato, watched a German oom-pah band competition in a traditional beer hall, and experienced the magic that is Tonton Garby in Brussels. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!
My drink of choice? A margarita. (But I wouldn’t say no to craft beer!)

Growing up, I was in every type of art class imaginable — painting, ceramic sculpture, scrapbooking, photography, and drawing to name a few. Funny enough, I can’t paint, sculpt, or draw to save my life, but I do still love memory-keeping, especially the storytelling aspect.
I'm a Florida girl through and through, but packed up my bags and moved across the country with my boyfriend (who I lovingly refer to as my best friend and favorite person) two years ago. Now we call San Diego, California home!
